About Us
Constant Daily Improvement!
KAIZEN is the Japanese word for “improvement” or “change for the better” and refers to the philosophy of continuous, constant improvement. Our goal each day, is to be just a little bit better than the day before. We accomplish this by surrounding ourselves with a COMMUNITY of driven, like-minded individuals that have made the choice to prioritize their health and fitness.
Remember, nothing great is ever accomplished alone, and the team-oriented mindset you will find at CrossFit La Crosse is an integral part of our success…and yours.

ABOUT KEVIN
I started doing CrossFit in 2012. I’ve been lifting weights since I was 15. My best friend Peter Olson got me into CrossFit when he opened an affiliate in our hometown, CrossFit La Crosse. My background previously was primarily powerlifting. CrossFit has changed my fitness forever. I became a trainer because I love putting smiles on faces and helping change people lives.

ABOUT NICK
I started doing CrossFit In 2016. I’ve always enjoyed fitness. During college, I found that I was losing my motivation. A co-worker of mine recommended that I try CrossFit. After the first class, I was hooked. CrossFit has taken my fitness to a completely new level and brought back that motivation. I had a lot of support from all of the coaches when I first started and they have had a tremendous impact on my life. I have become more self-confident because of this and love helping others do the same.

ABOUT SCOTT
I started doing CrossFit in 2016. I had lost 70lbs while living in Costa Rica and when I came back I got into running, push ups and p90x in order to maintain my weight loss. Then I met Peter Homp in early 2016, and he encouraged me to try CrossFit La Crosse. The rest is history. I taught high school and coached middle school sports for years so after doing CrossFit for a couple years, I thought it would be fun to take the L1 and be a coach. The L1 really improved my front squat and it was a fun fun class so I wanted to do the L2 asap to continue learning. Now seeing athletes make improvements that surprise them is what I thrive on.

ABOUT MAGGIE
I started doing CrossFit in 2019. I’ve been very active throughout my life and played many different sports. After high school, I was looking for something to keep me active and also feed my competitive side a bit. CrossFit was the perfect fit, and I happened to stumble upon it while in a college club called FLOW. Coaching seemed like a great way to push me out of my comfort zone and cultivate growth not only fitness wise but personally also. I hope to be able to help others to grow in and out of the gym as well.
